Halley House School is a new two-form entry Free School that opened in Arcola Street, Dalston in September 2015. The school is one of seven free schools established by Bellevue Place Education Trust. We believe in having rightfully high expectations and standards for every pupil and by working actively in partnership with our children, staff, parents and the local community, we will support and guide our pupils to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Halley House is a school that enables its pupils to take confidence from, and enjoyment in, everything they do, and places them at the heart of a vibrant, thriving school community.

We are looking for an experienced, inspirational and ambitious practitioner to join our growing team as a Key Stage 1 class teacher.

Our Candidate:

You have experience and passion for working within Key Stage 1. You enjoy using creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning and respond to the individual strengths and needs of the children in your care. You are committed to delivering exciting learning experiences in stimulating environments, both in and out of the classroom. You display relentless passion and enthusiasm for striving for the very best, and your talent for effective planning, teaching and assessment enables children to make exceptional progress. You are excited and motivated by the rewards and challenges that working in a school at the beginning of its journey affords and welcome the opportunity to really make your mark!
