EDISON PRIMARY SCHOOL (WARSAW)

Edison Primary School seeks experienced educators (minimum two years of experience) with a passion for primary education. Successful candidates will have experience teaching in a primary school, will be flexible and able to adapt lessons to specific standards and themes, and will promote learning through CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics).

Necessary Requirements:

  • An official teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE
  • A proficiency in English equivalent to C2 level
  • Familiarity with the International Cambridge curriculum


Additional Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an international school
  • Additional skills and specialisation that can contribute to the school's development
  • Experience working with children who speak English as an Additional Language


Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • How they have successfully implemented the Cambridge curriculum
  • Knowledge of current initiatives and developments in the UK education system
  • Experience in creating and delivering effective lesson plans
  • The ability to use assessment data to monitor progress and encourage learning
  • Strong classroom management and pastoral skills
  • Knowledge of child protection policies
  • Confidence in using technology for administrative and instructional purposes
  • A willingness to collaborate and work in a team environment


Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the Cambridge Programme to KS1 students
  • Coordinating with teachers from other campuses to ensure consistency
  • Assisting the School Director in managing administrative tasks related to the Cambridge Curriculum
  • Planning and organising educational trips and visits
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, performance, and assessment in accordance with school systems and local regulations
  • Working closely with the entire school team in a supportive manner
  • Communicating regularly with parents about their children's academic progress
  • Addressing pastoral concerns with parents as needed
  • Participating in school events and extracurricular activities
