ABC Teachers have recently been working with a growing primary school in the Druids Heath area of south Birmingham and they are seeking to appoint a full time KS1 teacher for the summer term. The school would ideally like to recruit an NQT who is looking to put their newly acquired skills into practice.
The school itself is an improving 2 form entry which caters for pupils of all abilities and backgrounds and also has a high number of EAL students. The teachers and staff have good working relationships across the school and within the local community and they put the children at the heart of all that they do.
The Head is ideally looking to recruit a passionate and creative teacher who can quickly build positive and consistent relationships. You will be able to engage with a range of abilities within the Y1 class and you will be able to identify and target individual learning needs.
The role is initially temporary until the end of the summer term, however there is the possibility that this role will be extended further for the right candidate.
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
