ABC Teachers are recruiting exclusively for a Year 2 teacher to work on a job-share basis from May half term, until the end of the academic year. The position will be a temporary 0.5 contract and full planning will be provided.
The school itself is a popular primary in Erdington, Birmingham which caters for pupils of varying levels of ability, including a high number of EAL pupils. The school benefits from interactive and modern resources within each classroom and a dedicated team of staff and teachers who work well together to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
The Head is ideally looking to recruit a proactive and engaging teacher who can build professional working relationships and a good rapport with both pupils/parents/carers where required. You will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and you will show a passion for pupil development.

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in ‘Child Workforce’ which must be registered on The Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
