Hatfield Woodhouse Primary Academy are looking to appoint a KS1 Teacher to join our academy in January 2022 on a full-time temporary basis until 31st August 2022.  You will teach pupils across the full age and ability of KS1 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being.

Your new school

Our 222 children, aged between 3 and 11, come from the village itself or travel in (many by school bus) from other neighbouring villages. We pride ourselves on our hard-working staff, our supportive AAB and our delightful children. Our school was first built in 1877 and we have been striving to improve the education we provide ever since! Visitors to our school frequently comment on the lovely family-like atmosphere. The academy is a busy and vibrant place. We pride ourselves on knowing our children well and doing our best to ensure everyone fulfils their potential.

Your new role 

We have an exciting teaching opportunity and are looking for an outstanding, committed and motivated teacher to contribute to the development of teaching and learning and curriculum in our academy.  This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for developing and inspiring the pupils in their care.

Hatfield Woodhouse Primary Academy is a small one form entry primary school to the east of Doncaster. We educate approximately 222 pupils between the ages of 3 and 11. Our children come from the village itself or travel in (many by school bus) from other neighbouring villages. Our school was first built in 1877 and we have been striving to improve the education we provide ever since!

We pride ourselves on our hard-working staff, our supportive AAB and our delightful children. In addition to our academic attainment in reading, writing and maths, we also think it is important to educate our children to be good citizens who know and care about their local community and their world.
