Smart Teachers are representing a wonderful and unique independent school looking to recruit new teachers to join their small idyllic setting in the city of London, from September 2017. Offering smaller class sizes enabling the teacher a chance to truly educate each individual, vacancies have arisen for both a KS1 Teacher / KS2 Teacher. The KS1 Teacher will teach a Year 2 class and the KS2 Teacher will teach a class of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. About the Role

• KS1 Teacher / KS2 Teacher
• KS1 Teacher to teach a Year 2 class
• KS2 Teacher to teach a mixed Year 5 and Year 6 class
• To fulfil all aspects of a class teaching position, delivering the curriculum with positivity and enthusiasm
• Organise exciting and educational off-site visits as well as guest visits to enhance the overall learning experience
• Provide great levels of pastoral care and support to parents and carers, ensuring clear communication channels are established and maintained
• Take responsibility for one area of the curriculum
• Both teaching roles will start from September 2017 on a full time long term contract until the end of the academic year
• Fixed term contracts on offer potentially leading to permanent positions

In order to be considered for this role, the KS1 Teacher / KS2 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• PGCE or equivalent qualification needed, QTS essential
• Experience of working in either the independent or state sector
• NQTS and overseas trained staff are welcome to apply
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
