Smart Teachers is recruiting for a KS1 Teacher to join an outstanding independent pre preparatory school in Merton. This school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ in it’s most recent inspection and caters for girls and boys aged 3-7 years. The school is located in a stunning setting in a leafy residential area and is part of a trust of independent schools based in South West London. The school's facilities are designed to create a family atmosphere, and close co-operation between parents and staff helps to achieve their aims. Much individual attention is given to the particular needs of each child to ensure they all reach their full potential and every talent is nurtured. In order to be considered for this role, the KS1 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

· Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

· Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum

· NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply?

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
