A busy and vibrant school in Acocks Green are urgently looking for a KS1 teacher to join them on a long term basis. The role will be full time working with a mixed ability Y1/Y2 class where you will be expected to plan and deliver on a job share basis.
The successful teacher must be hard working, have excellent working knowledge of the national curriculum and ideally have experience of working with a mixed ability class. You will have strong and consistent behaviour management skills and you will be act as a positive role model to both your colleagues and pupils.
This is an improving 3 form entry school, which is continually going from strength to strength. There is a dedicated and hard working team of staff who are keen to recruit someone who can contribute to the school and will be able to hit the ground running.
The role is to cover sick leave and will start immediately and continue on a temporary contract until Easter, potentially the end of the academic year.

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
