Unique Experiences - Exciting Curriculum
Grove Academy is a new free school that opened in September and is the first all-through school to open in Slough, providing seamless high quality education for 4 to 18 year olds. This is a unique opportunity to work with us to shape the Grove experience right from the beginning.
We have opened with Reception, years 1, 2, 3 and 7. Our primary phase is growing quicker than expected which is why we are looking for more staff now. The successful candidate would teach either year 1 or 2.
Our project based curriculum will be developed via enquiry and ‘big questions’ and will enable all pupils to place their learning within a real life context with concrete experiences. We will work closely with local businesses and organisations to ensure that our pupils leave Grove Academy with the skills and character that employers seek.

About Grove Academy
Grove Academy is the first all-through school to open in Slough and provides opportunity and education for 4 to 16 year olds, underpinned by high-quality teaching and learning and a common assessment framework. This continuity ensures that we can avoid the dips in performance associated with transition from one phase or school to another.
As one school we are able to teach subjects to our younger children via specialist subject teachers, such as modern foreign languages and PE. We can provide pastoral care for children in challenging circumstances by offering a ‘joined-up’ strategy and support families more consistently over a longer time.
