The role itself will consist of taking full responsibility of the schools Year 1 class, including all planning and assessment responsibilities. The class currently consists of 23 pupils with no outstanding behavioural difficulties. An experienced Teaching Assistant who has been at the school a number of years will be present on a full time basis to provide classroom support and aid with creating a smooth transition for the new candidate in taking over the class.
