We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our middle leadership team as Class Teacher/Year Group Leader in Year 1.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join our school. We became an academy in September 2017 and we are making rapid progress in all areas. As part of the Middlesex Learning Partnership family, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our partner academies, Belmore Primary Academy and Barnhill Community High School.

Collaboration and support are embedded in the culture of the school.  Staff are the vital ingredient in our school and our commitment to the development of staff at all levels is a fundamental priority for us.

We can offer:

  • High quality guidance and professional development opportunities
  • A friendly, very supportive and innovative staff team
  • Highly experienced teaching assistants in each class
  • A fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting and forward thinking multi-academy trust, working in partnership with other schools
  • Supportive senior leadership team
  • On-site parking
  • Full-time, permanent position from January 2022, or earlier if appropriate

All Year Leaders have oversight of a cohort of up to 90 pupils.  You will be responsible for leading a team of teaching and support staff to ensure that all children achieve their very best in terms of standards, progress and attitudes to learning.  We are looking for a colleague with the drive and energy to inspire and motivate everyone around them and be proactive in terms of both leading their team and in contributing to the broader direction and development of the school.

Visits to the school are very warmly welcomed and we would be delighted to show you around. Please contact the Head’s PA, Jessica Cotterill, to arrange a visit: enquiries@williambyrd.school
