Barnfield Primary is a successful 2 form entry, multi-cultural school, situated in the diverse area of Burnt Oak, North West London. On almost every index of deprivation, Burnt Oak ranks the highest in the Borough of Barnet. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic KS2 class teacher who will join our fabulous team and ensure our pupils receive the best possible education, experiences and achieve great things in line with our values of producing creative, curious, ambitious, healthy and emphatic learners.

● Have a commitment to working with children who require excellence in all that we do to ensure they thrive.

● Are inspirational teachers, with a track record of raising standards across the curriculum.

● Are creative, imaginative and aspirational about the teaching of core skills and can deliver high quality maths, literacy, phonics and early reading.

● Are passionate about installing a ‘love of reading’ in pupils.

● Understand, or be willing to learn more about the importance of nurture and trauma informed practice to support young people.

Successful applicants must demonstrate flexibility, creativity and humour and be truly committed to meeting the range of educational and developmental needs of the individuals within the relevant key stage.
