Your Opportunity

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated KS2 teacher who can convey a love of learning to ensure the progress of all the children they teach. The post is open to both new and experienced teachers who ‘want to make a difference’.

About Dulverton

We are a popular two form entry school, with well-behaved, motivated children who are keen to learn. Our aim is for our children to leave school at the end of Year 6 as ‘the very best versions of themselves’. We are working with UNICEF towards our Silver Rights Respecting School Award to encourage our children to become mature and responsible adults who are outward-looking and ‘give back’ to the community. We are an inclusive school and seek to look for the best in every child, helping every one to reach their full potential.

Further vetting checks including an Enhanced Disclosure with a check of the Barred List, obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service, will be required on provisional offer.


This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. School name therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
