This will be achieved through our cohesive and aspirational educational model of learning. The Academy offers a highly effective approach to teaching and learning using the 3-18 structure intelligently. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and innovative KS2 Class Teacher to join our highly experienced and growing Academy team. We want to hear from teachers who are interested, or experienced, in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as we can be flexible with where we appoint in our Foundation and Primary KS classes for September 2016. This position is also suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers.

You should be knowledgeable about and experienced in implementing current good practice, including synthetic phonics, and a creative approach to English and mathematics. We are looking for outstanding teachers and team players, who enjoy teaching and have a desire to contribute to the development of the school.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for children’s learning and development;
  • A proven track record of excellence as a class teacher;
  • Experience of SATs would be desirable;
  • The ability to motivate, lead and inspire colleagues;
  • High aspirations for all children and a desire to raise standards;
  • High aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.

For NQTs, we provide our highly successful Harris Federation NQT programme where you will train alongside other NQTs from across the Federation. This enables aspiring teachers to support and learn from each other, in the true collaborative spirit of Harris. There is a structure of support and challenge with customised professional learning, and every NQT has a professional mentor.
