Bradford Girls Grammar School is an extremely popular all-through school educating boys and girls in the primary phase and girls only from Year 7 up to Sixth Form. The school’s most recent Ofsted judgement was ‘Good’ which was made whilst including; the five significant key stages; Sixth Form, KS4, KS2, KS1 and Early Years.  Entry to the school is made at the beginning of Reception, Year 7 and Year 12 and all year groups have been significantly oversubscribed since opening as a free school in 2013.   The Primary Phase is known as Lady Royd Primary and has two classes of 28 in each year group from Reception up to Year 6 whilst from Year 7 up to Year 11 there is a four form entry with approximately 120 students in each year group. The Sixth Form has up to 160 students in total and has a clear focus on preparation for higher education.  We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and ambitious practitioners who are able to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities to achieve excellent standards in all areas of school life as well as making optimum levels of progress during their education. We are also looking for colleagues to join us who enjoy the challenge of maintaining high standards and creating outstanding life chances for all our students. The school is a rich and diverse community which welcomes those who are committed to developing young people, are excited by learning and have a desire to raise standards wherever possible.  Successful candidates will be highly motivated and driven by the desire to deliver outstanding Teaching and Learning. In support of these aims we offer ongoing Continuous Professional Development which covers all aspects of teaching, learning and leadership and prepares individuals for the next phase in their career.  Our journey so far has been challenging, exciting and immensely rewarding but we are always planning the next phase in our development so that we continue to deliver an excellent education to our local community.
