Classroom Teacher, Belper Area:

A primary school in the Belper area are currently looking for a teacher for their part time intervention role in Key Stage 2. They have asked for a teacher who is willing to push both themselves and the pupils in their care in order to gain the best results they can in the SATs exams coming up.  The school have been recently awarded ‘good’ by Ofsted and aim to continue on their journey to becoming an ‘Outstanding’ school by following the roadmap set out by the head to improve in all aspects.

General requirements:

· Experience within a primary class setting, specifically in a Keys stage 2.

· Provide a coherent individual plan for each of the pupils within your care

· Experience of working with a Teaching Assistant and having the ability to manage them efficiently and effectively to maximise the children’s learning

· Cover one afternoon of PPA per week for the mainstream class teachers

· Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to use different methods of teaching to suit the needs of different children

· Managing some of the mainstream SEN Children and giving them the extra assistance they may need in their studies

Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
