NHP is a popular co-ed school situated a stone’s throw from Portobello Road in West London. It is in the midst of a period of new development which will add to the excitement and energy already at the school. 

We are seeking an inspiring KS2/KS3 teacher with a specialism in English who has a passion for teaching and a wish to provide a dynamic and exciting learning environment for the children. Experience as a KS2/KS3  teacher is essential. We are a school where ambitious professionals and committed teachers can learn quickly and advance their careers.

The school is an accredited ‘Thinking School’, a title which reflects its intelligent approach to education.  It aims to teach children not merely to learn, but to learn how to learn.  The ability to imbed ‘Thinking School’ practices in all lessons will be a requirement.

The closing date for completed applications is 9am on 29th April 2019.   Interviews will be held in the week commencing 6th May 2019.  Short-listed candidates will be expected to teach an observed lesson during the interview day. The teaching post would start on 2nd September 2019.

Notting Hill Preparatory School is a mixed, non-denominational independent primary school in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, serving students from the age of 4-13. The primary school, situated in Notting Hill has approximately 435 students on record.

Notting Hill Preparatory School opened in 2003, set up through the collaboration of parents and teachers. The school opened new buildings in 2009 and 2018, with facilities including a computer suite and specialist art, music and science rooms.
