ABC Teachers are working with a large primary school, in Sheldon, Birmingham to recruit a full time Year 5 teacher to join their team from September 2019. The position will be full time and will continue for the full academic year; the head is ideally looking to recruit and support an NQT for this role.
The school itself is a large 3 form entry which benefits from a supportive leadership team that promotes togetherness and equality. Every child is given access to a creative and engaging curriculum and has a safe and secure environment to learn.
The successful candidate must:
• Hold valid QTS
• Demonstrate a firm understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Have the ability to maintain high standards
• Act as a positive role model to all pupils
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Be proficient in literacy and numeracy
• Demonstrate a positive work ethic
• Be able to encourage positive behaviour for learning
Only candidates who are available for the full academic year will be considered for this position and there is potential for the role to be made permanent for the right candidate.
