About the role:
A school who work exclusively with ABC Teachers in the north of Derby are looking for a teacher who is available from the beginning of October until the end of November 2018.
The school need someone with experience in Key stage 2 or upper key stage 1 who is looking to hit the ground running with their new class. In order to ensure that the children aren’t missing out on any work or the potential to learn it is pivotal that a candidate wastes no time in getting accustomed to the new school environment.
The role requires you to work with a mixed ability class with the aid of a teaching assistant who moves between both year 4 classes to help when needed. As they have just transitioned into key stage 2 the class will be looking for the assurance of the teacher, so the ability to build strong relationships and set a good example for the class is a must.
The school intend to fill the role as soon as possible, in order to avoid any delay in the teacher being able to go from the start of October.

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
