ABC teachers have been approached to recruit a passionate and engaging teacher to work on a short term basis. The role will be starting mid February for 2 days per week and the school itself is a large and vibrant 3 form entry in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham.

The ideal teacher will be a confident and creative thinker who is able to inspire and motivate children of all abilities; you will also ideally also have experience of working with a number of EAL pupils. You must be passionate about providing first class childcare and demonstrate a positive attitude. You will be required to work as part of well established team and will be able to deliver lessons with confidence in line with the national curriculum and challenge pupils on a daily basis. 

The role can be flexible, either Monday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday, and will continue until Easter 2017. You will primarily covering management time and PPA cover across lower KS2 groups.

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
