The Role
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a dynamic and committed team to teach mainly English at KS2. We have a strong academic ethos at ELPS and the children enjoy specialist teaching from Year 3 onwards. The successful applicant will have expertise in English, be well organised and will actively support the KS2 leader to further develop excellent learning across the school. You will be expected to contribute to the vibrant enhancement programme provided to all pupils. We are looking for a teacher who will be committed to driving standards, ensuring that every child is challenged to achieve their aspirational targets.

East Lane Primary School is a unique school with a curriculum devised and taught by our specialist subject teachers. We are part of Wembley Multi Academy Trust and moved into our brand new state-of-the-art building in April 2016. We provide a dynamic working environment and are constantly looking for ways in which to improve the achievement and cultural capital experiences of our pupils. As a growing Multi Academy Trust we currently are setting up a new secondary school in Brent and we provide a diverse workplace with lots of opportunities for the development of teachers and leaders.

About East Lane Primary School
East Lane Primary School was opened in April 2017 and in November 2019 was judged ‘Outstanding’ in every category by Ofsted in its first full inspection (Please click here for the full report). It is housed in a new and purpose-built £14 million building with exceptional resources and is located adjacent to Wembley High. This provides our children with an ‘all-through’ experience of outstanding schools. East Lane Primary School is a 3 form entry school with pupils from Reception to Year 6. Our results to date for Early Year, Phonics, KS1 and KS2 have been amongst the highest in Brent and significantly about the national averages and we are looking to continue our success as the school moves forward.
