  • Salary is dependant on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: QTS and relevant experience working with children, young people or adults in the past few years

  • Qualified teacher with previous experience with SEMH needed to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
  • Day to day support and long-term cover Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30 through Vision for Education

The role

Our clients require experienced teachers to provide support and targeted interventions to students who have identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and students with SEND. The successful candidate for this KS2 Teacher – SEMH role will be confident, outgoing and empathetic to their pupils’ backgrounds and challenges. You will require the ability to adapt and overcome any trials with a calm attitude. 

The school

Specialist provisions in Calderdale and Bradford who cater to pupils outside of mainstream education. They offer alternative methods in which to educate their children and provide targeted interventions in order to provide a positive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the KS2 Teacher – SEMH position, you will:

Qualified teacher status.

A minimum of 2 years’ worth of references that are relevant to working with children or within a similar environment 

Experience in SEND settings.

Positive attitude

Own transport desirable but not compulsory .
