Job overview

KS2 Primary Class Teacher needed for a rapidly growing SEN provision school based in Surrey. 

We are currently supporting a growing Special Needs and Mental Health Secondary Academy who are seeking  a KS2 Teacher starting September 2019. 

The role will include teaching KS2 curriculum to learners with SEN needs, ensuring all learners are well-equipped to succeed at KS3 and GCSE and beyond.

The successful candidate will also have the chance to develop the curriculum/new schemes of work and be involved with extra-curricular projects to boost learner engagement with the school and the wider Trust.

The school is offering:

  • small class sizes alongside extra TA support
  • extensive support packages including CPD and mentoring
  • enhanced progression opportunities.


The school expects:

  • UK QTS
  • teaching qualification such as: PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, ITT or BEd/MEd
  • experience of working with SEN learners or a willingness to learn under mentorship.
