The Headteacher and Governors of Granard Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, self-motivated and inspiring Teaching Assistant. We are three form entry in Reception and Key Stage 1 and two form throughout the rest of the school. You will also need to work closely with the class teacher to prepare resources, put up displays of children’s work and carry out various administrative tasks required in the classroom. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team.

For the right candidates, we can offer:

  • A dedicated Leadership Team
  • Excellent CPD opportunities to develop you professionally, with regular coaching, mentoring, modelling and positive feedback in a supportive learning community
  • Many and varied opportunities to foster your passions and talents
  • Manageable workloads and achievable deadlines
  • Children who have a love of learning, will ask questions and try their best
  • Very good behaviour
