Greengate Lane Academy has an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced Teacher to join our team as KS2 Writing Lead . This is a part-time permanent role working 4 days on a 26 hour contract.

 

Our ideal candidate will teach children, in accordance with academy aims and policies and National Curriculum requirements, to achieve their maximum potential.

  

We are looking for individuals who have:

 

  • ​Successful teaching experience across the primary phase​
  • Successful classroom experience in a primary setting, preferably in key stage two​
  • Successful leadership of a subject (ideally English) within a primary school.

Greengate Lane Academy is located in the North of Sheffield in the High Green area of the city. We are a one form entry school and have 230 children on roll ranging from three to eleven years. We are very proud of our children and their achievements which are based on aspiration and high expectations among all of the staff, children and parents who work together to provide the best possible experiences and education.
