KS3 English Teacher

Following the successful establishment of Durham Schools in Qatar and Kenya, we are delighted to be opening our first branch in Dubai in September 2022. In our first year, the school will cater for students from FS1 – Y8.

Interest in the school has been significant and application for places in our KS3  classes has exceeded our expectations. Durham School Dubai is therefore seeking an inspirational English teacher to teach KS3 (Y7 and Y8) with the opportunity to extend teaching into the older year groups as the school grows.  This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, flexible and adaptable teacher to play a major role in the foundation of our school.

Durham School will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum of England in Primary and Secondary Departments. Our curriculum will include the teaching of Arabic Language, Islamic Education and Arabic Social Studies in accordance with UAE regulations. Students will work towards IGCSE in Key Stage 4, leading into ‘A’ Levels in the sixth form.
