Job overview
We require an experienced, talented and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to co-ordinate the KS3 curriculum. You will oversee the curriculum and assessment structure at KS3 and should be able to effectively track and monitor student progress and lead intervention programmes to support underachieving and vulnerable students within the department.
You should have a good understanding of the requirements for the new GCSE and be able to teach across all years and abilities. You will be able to deliver consistently good/outstanding lessons and be a highly motivated and excellent classroom practitioner, able to inspire students, with a commitment to your own personal development. You will be an excellent form tutor, taking responsibility for monitoring the academic and pastoral progress of students within your tutor group.
