Our vision for education stems from an ambition for all students to experience a truly hands on and creative approach to learning. We aim for students to drive their own learning by providing opportunities for student choice, exploration and investigation. We offer an adapted UK curriculum that is reflective of our setting in both the Caribbean and the world.

Required from September 2021, Providenciales Middle School is looking to appoint a committed and inspiring teacher to join our excellent KS3 teaching team. The role will be split into two key areas of responsibility:

Providenciales Middle School boasts a supportive community of staff and parents who work together for the benefit of all pupils. Academic standards in the school are high and we attribute this to our wonderful team of teachers, who work to nurture our children’s inherent talents, natural curiosity and love of learning.

You will need to:

• be an excellent and motivated classroom practitioner, focused on engaging and inspiring a love of learning;

We are a unique Primary & Middle School, offering a British based, child centred education to children from the age of 2 to 14 years. Within small classes, our school provides a warm and friendly environment that supports and challenges the intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth of our children.

Our Primary School has operated on Providenciales for over 30 years, with our Middle School phase opening in 2017. We have now fully expanded our provision to offer Early Years education in addition to Key Stages 1-3.

With our knowledge of multiple intelligences and learning styles we aim to recognize and nurture each child’s inherent abilities and emerging strengths.

Our Early Years curriculum offers developmentally appropriate activities for our youngest children. Through a centre-based programme, children learn to explore and extend upon their interests and knowledge.

We continue our commitment to hands-on, investigative learning with or our older children. Our curriculum encourages high academic achievement in Literacy, Numeracy, Science and beyond, differentiating for the individual needs of each child. We also emphasize and actively encourage an eager interest in Music, Drama, Art, Sports and Design Technology. We feel that exploration in these subjects to be equally important to the development of the whole child.

Our school has developed a strong reputation throughout our community and is particularly well known for its creativity and highly entertaining Musical productions.

We are excited about our school and hope that, as you view our website, you feel that this is a great learning environment for children and somewhere that you would love to teach.
