Tes is supporting the appointment of a KS4/5 Head of Media to join a College based in Essex.

They are looking for a Key Stage 4 and 5 Head of Media to cover maternity leave until January 2024. This role represents an opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to continue the success of the Media department. This role is based at Frinton-on-Sea in Essex and they are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • Teach BTEC Media disciplines across Key Stage 4 and 5
  • Further improve outcomes in Media
  • Contribute to the further development of the College Media curriculum 

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following courses and software:

  • BTEC Level 1 / 2 Tech Award in Creative Media Production, with a focus on moving image production
  • KS5 BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Digital Film and Video Production
  • Google Suite
  • Adobe Premier Pro
  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Believes in the power of education and wider educational experiences to transform the lives of the most disadvantaged
