Job overview

If you are forward thinking, ambitious for yourself, our staff and students whilst committed to a CAN DO approach, then we want to hear from you.

We are seeking an inspirational teacher of French and Spanish who has a creative and innovative approach to teaching and who is passionate about their subject. You should be willing to promote your subject in the wider school community and have a strong interest (and track record) of promoting/communicating the relevance of MFL in contemporary society. In addition, you will have demonstrated a creative approach to collaboration with other Language Acquisition subjects. You will be an outstanding teacher and have a successful record of accomplishment in securing student progress at IGCSE and IB. The ability to offer German would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite of the post.

You will be expected to run and offer a programme of enrichment and clubs both in and outside of the school day. You will be keen to create external partnerships with local companies and organisations to facilitate the relevance of languages in the working world. You will also work with your faculty to offer a range of trips and visits so that students can experience French/Spanish cultures and practice/develop their language skills.

This is an exciting time to join the school, where numbers continue to grow and there are excellent facilities. The students and staff team are motivated to be the best and all operate within a growth mindset.

Are you what we are looking for? Let us know your vision and what wow you will bring to our team.

Closing date for applications Monday 24th February 2020.
