Immanuel College is a successful and oversubscribed 11-18 Church of England secondary school of 1669 students, including an expanding sixth form, which serves the communities around the northern border between Leeds and Bradford. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a KS4 Learning Development Centre Tutor to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will:
- To work closely with others, contributing to the support of targeted students (pastoral systems, learning mentors, external agencies etc).
- To develop and manage bespoke learning programmes designed to enable all students to engage productively with the mainstream curriculum and work towards recognised qualifications.
- To establish intervention strategies, which will include careful analysis of students own strengths, areas for development/needs, preferred learning styles and environmental/ SEN factors influencing behaviour and learning.
We are a friendly and supportive team and staff development opportunities will be made available to the successful candidate.

About Immanuel College
Immanuel College is a mixed, non-selective, Church of England, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in Bradford in West Yorkshire. There are 1672 students on the school roll, of whom 237 are students on roll in the sixth form.
Immanuel College was the first Voluntary Aided Church of England secondary school to be built in the Bradford Diocese and was opened in October 2001 by the Archbishop of York. In February 2016 Immanuel College converted to academy status and is now part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust.
