The School:
• Closest Station – West Ealing/Ealing Broadway
• Independent and Innovative school supporting students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, and SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
• Cater to students from 18 to 22 years of age
• Pupil-focused curriculum with a vision to prepare students for the world after school
• Integrated therapy team supporting pupils’ emotional well-being
• Pupils have individual learning plans and are in small classes to ensure their needs are properly catered to
The Role:
• Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
• Working in a particular class or floating around each class, assisting students who need extra support
• Assisting with 1:1 and small group interventions under the teacher’s advice
• Supporting class teacher with conducting the lesson and assisting where necessary
Requirements for KS5 Teaching Assistant role:
• Previous experience working in a secondary setting in necessary – experience at a Special Needs school is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on Update System necessary for this role as we need someone to start ASAP
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom
• Be able to provide 2 references
