Job overview

We are looking to recruit a LAMDA teacher working up to 3 days per week, term time only.
You would be responsible for teaching LAMDA to students across the age range of the school and preparing them for their LAMDA Speech & Drama examinations, marketing and promoting LAMDA and carrying out administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will:

• Be well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet tight deadlines.

• Be a good communicator, both in writing and orally.

• Have a recognised drama qualification and/or vocational experience.

• Have experience of teaching Prep and Senior School aged pupils.

• Have familiarity and experience of teaching to LAMDA’s examination syllabus requirements and an excellent track record of examination results.

• Have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people

• Have emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours

• Have a positive attitude to use of authority and maintaining discipline

• Have a willingness to go ‘the extra mile’
