Job overview
We are seeking a French Language Assistant to join the thriving Languages Department in our academically selective girls’ boarding school from September 2017 to July 2018.
The applicant must be fluent in French and highly proficient in English. The role may suit someone who has already served in a previous school as a language assistant, or who is a native speaker and has some teaching experience. A full teaching qualification is not a requirement. Accommodation can be provided.
Benenden School is an independent boarding school for girls, founded in 1923 and situated in 240 acres of beautiful parkland in rural Kent. At present, there are 540 girls in the School. A considerable amount of new building has been completed in recent years, including a Science Centre, an all-weather pitch, Sports Pavilion and staff housing.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
