We are looking to appoint from December 2022 a Swimming Coach who will be able to work with or swimming squad at Saint Felix School. You will be working with and coaching pupils from the age of 9 to 14.

Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged from 2 – 19, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.

Academic excellence is central to life at Saint Felix School and we encourage all pupils to aspire to the highest possible standards and to exceed their expectations. Our success is demonstrated by impressive examination results at GCSE and A Level. The vast majority of our leavers go on to Higher Education.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate swimming coach to join our outstanding sports department. Our swimming facilities are excellent, the pool and training facilities enable coaches to provide a high quality programme for all swimmers.

Swimming a Saint Felix School is offered to all, within the curriculum and as an extracurricular option. The elite training programme offered at Saint Felix School Swimming Club as well as  scholarships are available to swimmers from the age of ten upwards, based upon County, Regional, National and International qualification. Swimmers are given the best opportunities to optimise education with the demands of training. The highly qualified team of coaches work with the teaching, medical and management team of the School to offer a rounded education and swimming experience.

As our lead age group swimming coach you will play a key role in the development of the programme at Saint Felix School. In collaboration with the Head coach you will play a key role in the progression of the Saint Felix swimming programme building upon the excellence at all levels.

About Saint Felix School

Saint Felix, Southwold has been providing educational excellence for 120 years. A co-educational independent school for boarders and day pupils from the ages of 2 to 18.

Boarding at Saint Felix caters for full, weekly and flexi-boarders between the ages of 9-18 in three boarding houses situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Suffolk coast.
