Forest Moor is a day Special School (ages 9-16) and is a crucial part of North Yorkshire’s network for social, emotional and mental health needs. You will be joining us at an important stage of our development. We have recently undergone significant change in provision and this appointment is an important part of fulfilling our exciting vision for the future. The School has the full commitment from the local authority and the governing body to continue our journey to becoming a ‘good’ school.

The governing body is seeking to appoint an inspirational and creative teacher to lead the English curriculum across all key stages. The successful candidate will have insight and enthusiasm, should be willing to adopt an innovative approach to curriculum planning and be committed to using a wide range of approaches to support pupils making progress in and out of lessons.
