We are looking for reliable individuals to lead our professional team of examination invigilators for our internal exams and summer public exams for GCSEs and other qualifications. Applicants will be required to work morning and/or afternoon sessions.

As the lead invigilator you will take responsibility for the running of examination rooms with over 100 candidates and a team of 5 or more invigilators on a regular basis. The lead invigilator will be required to organise the invigilation team to supervise students, oversee the careful distribution and collection of examination papers and ensure the JCQ requirements for conducting examinations are upheld by the team.

Successful candidates will be required to attend training before the public exam period begins.

Applicants will also need to be available for the majority of our whole cohort GCSE exams in the summer series which runs between Monday 15 May – Thursday 29 June.  Applicants must be available for the majority of our whole cohort exams which include English, Maths, Science and Languages. The dates of these are 16 May AM,17 May AM, 19 May AM, 22 May AM, 23 May AM, 24 May AM, 25 May AM, 5 June AM, 6 June AM, 7 June AM, 9 June PM, 12 June AM, 13 June AM, 14 June AM, 16 June AM.

[Morning sessions start at 8.45am; Afternoon sessions start at 1.00pm with a duration between 1.5 – 2.5hrs]

The ability or willingness to train as a reader/scribe is desirable.

 Applicants must be physically able to move desks if required.
