Lead House Parents
We are seeking several energetic, committed and positive individuals to join our Intensive Courses team during both Spring and Summer as Lead House Parents. This role is responsible for the day to day pastoral care and welfare of the students attending the course at White Lodge (11-15), providing a supportive ‘home from home’ during the course. This is a full time boarding role and candidates will need to be flexible with their approach to working in order to best support the students. Duties will include the waking/bed time routines and being on site overnight in order to supervise students. These are exciting opportunities for the successful candidates to be a part of a successful intensive course programme and to support students throughout.
One Lead House Parent role will be for the full total of 5 weeks and another will be for just the last 2 weeks of the Summer Course.
Dates: Spring Intensive runs from 5 April-11 April 2019 and Summer Intensive runs from 15 July- 9 August 2019. The two weeks only Summer position will be the last 2 weeks of the Intensive.
Hours: All White Lodge Lead House Parent roles are full time with set evenings/mornings off duty on a rota basis and one day off per week, however flexibility is vital in this role. Additional induction/set up/clear up days will also be required in addition to the above.
Pay: £850 a week with accommodation on site included.
To apply, please complete the above application form and send to firstname.lastname@example.org, indicating clearly which site/position you are applying for.
Please note that we do not accept CV’s.
Closing date for applications: 27 November 2018
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check and further pre-employment checks to comply with boarding school recruitment regulations.
