Mascalls Academy is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Lead Invigilator, joining us from October 2023. Our successful candidate will lead our team of invigilators for internal and public exams for GCSEs and other qualifications.
The Lead Invigilator is defined as the Invigilator who is responsible for supervising the main examination venue and is in charge of the invigilation team and candidates within this venue. The Lead Invigilator should supervise examinations, working in accordance with all regulations, policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and security of the examination season ensuring that all candidates have equal opportunity. The successful candidate will ensure examinations are conducted in such a manner that there can be no suggestion of improper conduct, unfairness, advantage or disadvantage to any candidate.
Experience is preferred but not essential as an induction and full training will be undertaken. The successful candidate must be flexible, keen to learn, available every day during the busy summer series and motivated.
This role offers £11.24 per hour, working hours ‘as required’ per week Term Time only
