A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Lead IQA to manage and lead Quality assurance in our engineering department for class-based and apprenticeships

 

In this role you will work along side management and tutors to support and lead on all quality assurance for the area. You will be able to gain an understanding of everything that we deliver and devise your own IQA plans to work to inline with awarding body requirements.

 

For this role you will ensure that we continue to deliver a high-quality Engineering curriculum in collaboration with all internal stakeholders. Internal Quality Assurance activity across all Engineering provision needs to be planned effectively and carried out formative and summative across the area to support staff, remain compliant and drive success.

 

You will be responsible for identifying trends and running standardization sessions to support other IQAs and tutors inline with awarding organization requirements

 

Applicants must have occupational competence and qualifications within Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, hold the Assessors A1 Award (TDLB D32/D33) or TAQA 301 Award and a level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.


Excellent communication skills and a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel is also essential.
