With a proud tradition of serving the community of Stockton-on-Tees, Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth is a medium-sized school with a big heart. We are part of the Outwood Grange Academies Trust, one of the highest performing trusts in the country.
Our vision is to put students first in order to raise standards and transform lives. To make this happen, we innovate constantly, including a curriculum that is designed to enable personalised learning in depth and with breadth. We ensure that additional teaching time and resources are provided to support students to leave with a solid foundation of good and better grades.
About the Role
As Lead Learning Manager, you will be required to support learning through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring in order to maximise student attainment and will manage our team of Learning Managers. You will work closely with the Inclusion Team and the Vice Principal, Deep Support on Intervention Strategies to support the academic achievement of all students. Your role will ensure that intervention and tracking is effective using the school’s “Praising Stars” system. You will attend case conferences and other meetings regarding students in the academy alongside preparing referrals and reports for those students identified as needing intervention.

You will be required to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.
