As a Lead Mentor, you’ll work closely with students who need extra social, emotional, or behavioural support. You'll run mentoring sessions, group activities and workshops, and help students build the confidence and life skills they need to succeed. You’ll also work alongside staff, families and specialist colleagues to create a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel supported.
Our dedicated SIGNAL Centre provides a calm and well-resourced base for this work. It’s a key part of our pastoral provision and a valued space for students who need additional support during the school day.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a meaningful job during school hours, with school holidays off. The Bulmershe School is a heavily oversubscribed school which sits at the heart of the Woodley community. We are a mixed, Corvus Learning Trust Academy school of students aged between 11 and 18, who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
