We are seeking to appoint a talented, experienced and highly effective teacher to become a Lead Practitioner or Aspiring Lead Practitioner of English. We are looking for a talented educator with a big heart who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our pupils. The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher of English in a secondary school and will have a track record for securing excellent outcomes. S/he will be adept at translating their own high expectations and professional standards to others through their daily practice. The appointed person will work as part of a team of teaching professionals in the College leading and developing the teaching and learning practice of others. S/he will be able to lead a variety of high quality professional development activities, including coaching and mentoring, peer and pair observation, planning and reflection.
