Kemnal Technology College is on a rapid journey of improvement and we are looking for an ambitious Lead Practitioner to join us. We are looking for someone who will lead by example and possess the energy to coach others towards improving teaching and learning across our school.
Whether you are an experienced middle leader or a high performing teacher ready to take your first step into whole school impact, we want to hear from you.
As a cornerstone of our school wide strategy, you will maintain an outstanding teaching profile, serving as a "beacon" classroom for staff to observe. Beyond your own students, you will embed and deliver coaching cycles for ECTs and established staff alike, ensuring our curriculum remains ambitious, evidence informed and sequenced. You will help to bridge the gap between educational research and practical classroom wins by supporting the SLT to directly improve student outcomes.
We are looking for an expert practitioner who understands how to apply the science of learning, such as retrieval practice and scaffolding, to everyday lessons. The ideal candidate will be resilient, adaptable and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment where challenges are viewed as opportunities for growth. Our students need to be determined and ambitious and we expect our parents to challenge them at home as much as we do at College so we are embracing new technologies, expanding our online tools through ‘Show My Homework’ and also our new venture with ‘Google Education’.
