Millfield Science and Performing Arts College is a vastly oversubscribed and successful 11 to 16 school on a journey to outstanding.  Our motto is to ‘Create Bright Futures’ for all our students and we have a commitment to staff wellbeing, workload and regular, high-quality CPL.  In September 2020, we began the exciting step into our school becoming a Dynamic Learning Community: where staff collaborate and use evidenced-based research and instructional coaching to improve their teaching practice.

Leader Practitioner Pay Scale

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and dynamic leader who is committed to ensuring every child is stretched and challenged to reach their full potential.  The successful candidate will be ready to step into leadership and lead on a whole school T&L responsibility area, strengthening our T&L Extended Leadership Team of Lead Practitioners.

This vacancy would suit an experienced middle leader, who has a proven track record of success, and who is driven to ensure the best outcomes for all students.

We are a small, happy school, in the heart of Thornton, with around 870 students on roll and have been oversubscribed for 13 years.

We pride ourselves on being known as Team Millfield and we follow The Millfield Way. Behaviour is outstanding.
