Leadership scale L7 to L11  - Starting salary £45,743 

We want “Excellence as Standard” to be the default for all provision in College. We are offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Morris Education Trust (MET) in the role of Lead Practitioner - Humanities at Witchford Village College (WVC). MET is a recently formed and fast-growing multi-academy trust, currently including two Village Colleges and a new special free school with an autism specialism.  At Witchford Village College there is also a specialist autism unit and we pride ourselves in inclusivity and opportunity for all.

This role will see you inspiring and leading our dedicated team of Humanities Teachers to develop and revitalise these key subjects leading to strong results. You will implement your ideas for the curriculum to bring these subjects into the hearts of our students. 

Rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2016, WVC is determined to build on that solid foundation and have restructured the Middle leadership to create a team of Lead Practitioners as a powerful force for change and forward momentum.   

Close to the historic and beautiful city of Ely, we offer a rural location,  excellent for an enhanced quality of life, an onsite Gym and free parking.
