Job overview
We are looking to appoint a highly qualified, enthusiastic, committed and successful Lead Practitioner in Mathematics with strong subject knowledge to work with the Head of Faculty to deliver outstanding progress for our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising the quality of teaching and learning, setting high expectations for pupils and staff across the school. As an outstanding teacher, you will be expected to lead and develop high quality teaching throughout the Mathematics department and contribute to the development and quality assurance of teaching and learning across the department and the school. Hodge Hill Girls’ School is a multicultural, oversubscribed girls’ school with 750 pupils on roll. We were inspected by Ofsted in March 2017 and the school was judged as Good overall and pupil behaviour was judged to be outstanding.
