Lead Practitioner – Mathematics

*This position attracts a TLR2a allowance of £2,721 per annum and a temporary recruitment and retention allowance of £2,000 per annum (fixed term for 2 years)*
Due to increasing student numbers, we are currently seeking to appoint an exceptional person to join our expanding Maths team.

Manchester Health Academy opened in September 2009 and is sponsored by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. What we’re looking for
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and a highly motivated individual, with a proven track record of success and of innovative teaching and learning strategies. This position will play a central role in guiding a vibrant, friendly and forward thinking team towards even better outcomes for our students. You will be involved in the development of key staff members and trainee teachers, and will play a significant role in implementing alternative exciting approaches in the teaching of mathematics. We are therefore seeking an experienced, dedicated and outstanding teacher with a unique approach to teaching and learning that inspires both colleagues and students. You will be ambitious and seeking to develop into a Middle Leader in the near future.
