Airedale Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form in West Yorkshire, serving students from the ages of 11 to 18. The secondary school, situated in Airedale and has 1100 students on record. Airedale Academy is part of Castleford Trust.
Castleford Trust is a dynamic and inclusive Multi Academy Trust, consisting of nine schools across all phases: three secondary academies, two primary academies, two junior academies and two infant academies. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Lead Practitioner to join the Trust. The role will be based at Airedale Academy.
You will be:
- Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within Maths to achieve their highest potential across Key Stage 3/4.
- Able to lead a team of high achieving specialists.
- Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the department by implementing new initiatives, monitoring and reporting on key outcomes, to ensure the department meets academic targets.
- Responsible and be accountable for pupil attainment and achievement, by tracking pupil progress and supporting individual pupils’ learning needs.
