The Governors and Principal of Ron Dearing University Technical College (UTC) seek a talented and inspirational Lead Practitioner for Maths to join the Leadership Team supporting the leadership of whole-school teaching and learning and to teach Maths to GCSE and, ideally, Maths and Further Maths to A Level. In addition, our Lead Practitioner will work with our Assistant Principal STEM, staff from the University of Hull and key employer partners (KCOM; RB; Siemens Gamesa; Smith & Nephew; Spencer Group) to develop exciting Maths and Engineering projects for students to apply their theoretical learning to.

Ron Dearing UTC is a brand new school for 14-19 year olds which opened in Hull city centre in September 2017.

Working in close partnership with The University of Hull and our employer partners, we aim to revolutionise the education system in the UK by offering our students a totally unique way to learn. We provide a high quality education to ensure our students acquire the academic and professional qualifications and the personal and employability skills they need to give them the edge in our rapidly evolving digital world. Our specialisms are Digital Technology and Engineering. Maths, both within Engineering and as a stand-alone academic subject, is one of the most high-profile and important subjects.
